Location:
Athens, OHConcerned citizens believed the building to be an historic school house, and when Ohio University purchased the old Athens Lumber Yard property it was moved to a new location. Completely restored by volunteer labor, the new office for the Athens County Habitat for Humanity was completed within two years. RVC Architects donated much of their time in planning and saving the structure and although it was discovered that it was not a school house, it is an historic building designed in the railroad architecture style of the late 19th century.
