Nelsonville, OHThe restoration of the existing 1904 fountain in the public square of Nelsonville. Many elements on the fountain had been changed or incorrectly replicated through the years. Items addressed were the actual bowls and discharge sconces, poor plumbing design and deteriorated pumping system, the cast iron fence surrounding the fountain, and many of the transition corner pieces were destroyed. All elements were recreated from historic photographs and restored by Robinson Iron Company.
