Athens, OHPacked in plywood boxes for over twenty years, the Ewing Hall stained glass windows were relocated numerous times, placed in basements on the University’s campus, and generally forgotten. In a combined effort with Ohio University, Pam and David Callahan, RVC Architects, and Franklin Art Glass of Columbus, Ohio, the windows, some of them in a state of serious disrepair, were sent to Columbus for restoration. RVC Architects and David Callahan’s role in the project involved working with the architectural designers of Walters Hall, collaborating with Franklin Art Glass, designing custom casework for window placement and attending progress meetings to approve the restoration of the windows.
